A standard physiotherapy initial assessment typically takes 45 to 60 minutes. This includes a thorough review of your medical history, a physical examination of your movement and strength, and often enough time to begin your first treatment.
Complex conditions—such as concussions, neurological rehabilitation, or multiple injury sites—can occasionally require 60 to 90 minutes.
